CLIC Stands For
Cultivating Leaders & Intentional Culture
CLIC was designed to meet the need of positive culture development in schools throughout the US and around the world. Culture is the way an organization operates. It is what makes strategy work. Without culture, other initiatives will certainly fail.

2014
Dan had been teaching in the SAME high school for 21 years, Amy in education for 14... They left Minnesota to move to Florida. Good is the enemy of GREAT!
2016
Dan and Amy KNOW there is more to do in the way of helping students become authentic leaders in developing the culture in school. Dan goes to Paraguay with John Maxwell Leaders to help with a TRANSFORMATION OF THE COUNTRY! That was the beginning of CLIC...This HAS to be done in schools!
2017
Dan & Amy Do a workshop for Pasco County Schools emphasizing student leadership. A principal asks what WE DO IN OUR SCHOOL... The First "Outside" CLIC School is born...
2018
CLIC Is now running in TWO high schools in Florida, and Amy starts a CLIC program for her elementary students as well! Freshman Orientation Day is the BEST DAY OF THE SCHOOL YEAR for the incoming freshman students! IT IS WORKING!!!
2019-21
2019 Generated some new student-created resources, including the roundtable activity board, which is awesome! Amy starts her SEL lessons on the CLIC YouTube Channel. Lots of momentum... then March of 2020 hit... We have to regain our momentum for 2021, and this is the junior & senior leaders welcoming the freshman students on their first day back to fully in-person learning! We ARE BACK!!
2022
Getting back in the swing of things! Teacher Goals invites Dan to speak at their virtual conference in 2021, University of South Florida reaches out to Amy to see what she has going on- that leads to a partnership with training opportunities for teachers, ABC in Tampa features CLIC on the "First Day of School" segment in 2022. Now, it's YOUR Turn... Let's GO!
2023-24
So here we are... today...waiting for you to make the move. It's time- Empower YOUR students to create the most positive culture you have ever seen in a school. It's self-sustaining and it is pretty awesome to see YOUR students being SO AMAZING to one another because somebody (YOU) gave them the tools and confidence to make a difference, and to make their school a better place to be. C'mon, what are you waiting for?
